HELLO!
Andrew is an illustrator and designer based in Toronto(ish).
He has a ‘retro-futuristic’ style which juxtaposes graphic shapes with energetic textures. He is drawn to bold colours (especially black and white, which he definitely counts as colours).
He collages textural qualities into his digital workflow by using traditional and nonconventional media (such as this one time when he used food colouring because he ran out of watercolour).
He regularly finds inspiration in: abstraction, natural landscapes, biology, classical mythology, and ancient history. He loves food, fashion (that he can't afford) and living neatly and minimally.
